Its my best subject so im quite looking forward to it, will be very upset if i don't get an A!
The only thing i struggle with is the cosine rule, anyone got any tips?

Ah trigonometry. Never did get that myself.

The rest of the paper wasn't hard when I did it [2 years ago], so you should be able to get an A fairly comfortably without getting it completely. You should be fine.

I'm doing A-levels myself atm, no maths though (Biology, psychology, English Language). :3

Good luck all =o

Not without pictures lol. Ummm from memory isnt it  c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2abcos C where C = the angle between a and b.

EDIT: got sign wrong lol

Big letters are angles, small letters are sides.

Then follow the formula:

c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2*a*b*cosC

Edit: i give up on the triangle. Matching big and small letters go opposite one another.

(KIA, your sign was wrong...)

I'm back from my exam and due to the hard revision this morning, i mastered the cosine rule and recurring decimals.
I reckon im pushing for an A*, very confident that i got 80+ out of 100.
Only a couple of questions i couldn't really answer!
1. Solve the inequality 2x+3 > 4x+5 ?
2. Solve the equation 2xsquared +3x +7 = 0

And the back page wordy one which i cant remember and don't want to.
