I went to the open evening. The place is of quite high quality. I'm assuming you're in North Yorkshire if you're hearing stuff about QE.

so this GCSE and A levels, is what?
highschool stuff? GCSE are standarised test for the entire country I think? And you need high grades in order to get accepted to good colleges and universities?
What are the entrance fees in the UK univeristies?

It's not really weird. They're pretty standard qualifications around the world and they're classed as some of the best. There are international versions and you take what subjects you want. Smile

We generally don't have High Schools or Middle Schools like most countries. We use Primary Schools and Secondary Schools, then onto Sixth Form and then University.

Reception, Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5, Y6 are Primary School.
Y7, Y8, Y9, Y10, Y11 are Secondary School.
Y12, Y13 are Sixth Form.

GCSEs are Years 10 and 11. (14-16) A Levels are Sixth Form (16-18 ).

I'm doing Further Maths, Physics and Sociology. I might drop sociology and do History or Politics instead though...
