Us election Palin vs Biden

Thats the reason im still awake. I wanna see paling get absolutely blown away. I hope she wil make herself look really stupid so that the people in the US notice that she has not got a clue about whats goiing on.

see the biggest problem i have with the republicans right now is that for the past 8 years they have made the US look bad in the world. Bush cuased uneccessary wars and i am jsut afraif mccain might continue.

I do agree however that Biden coudl make a faux pas tonight but it shall be an interesting watch especially for someone outside of America.

Also there is no way that Obama wants a socialist country he is focused on improving things from where they are now, liek the healthcare etc.
Do you honestly belive taht if mc cain had a stroke or somehting you would liek Plain to run your country? She really has not got he necessary expierience, her interviews with the press so far have just been horrible. I can understand why peopel finde her likeable. Shes an average upper middle class women who has a big family etc. Its that sort of stuff which is highly valued in the US.

I respect of course that you are in favour of Mc Cain at the moment because thats your opinion. I hope that the next month might be able to change your mind.

His tax plan is more-or-less Socialist.

If you raise taxes on the rich ($250,000+) and give it to the poor, it's socialist.
To put it in simpler terms: He wishes to create one class by bringing the rich down to the level of the middle class.

Your understanding of the term "socialist" is...well, it's American. Taxing the rich more than the poor, it's a leftist policy, of that there is no denying. But that, and even want to create some form of state funded health service does not a socialist country make.

Maybe Obama does want a one class society. Frankly, I severely doubt that. I hope he does, but even in the remote chance that he does want that, and is keeping it hush, once he gets voted as President he then comes out and trys all these socialist policies, they'll fail in Congress, surely? Because even the vast majority of Democrats are anti-socialist, never mind the republicans. The President alone does not have the power to make America a socialist country.

And frankly in a world where the UK, France, & even the Scandinavian nations are moving further & further away from socialist & even social-democrat government, it's highly unlikely that the United States takes their place.

Most of the United States, Europe, probably even you, pretty much the entire world blames Bush for the problems of the US for the last 8 years of problems in the US. Whether Bush is smart, whether Bush has solid policies, frankly none of that matters a whole lot. The problem lies in the fact that neither party really works together to get much accomplished. They both piss and moan and fight over the same issues.

Hell, take a look at who they chose as running mates:

Obama, a black man running to be the first black President in the United States, picks an older white man known to be leftist, social, whatever you want to call it, and goes on TV saying "Change needs to be more than a campaign slogan".

McCain, a veteran in politics, picks a youngish beaty queen white female with a good personality and decent record. They both try to work across the isle but are looked on as wishy washy by most, even their own party.

Now, pretty much they're going after votes. To me, if it wasnt so obvious it wouldnt be so bad. But, it is. It's blatantly obvious their simply trying to relate to the voters to get votes, because they have the same problem I have with every politician:

They think they need a title to get something done. Why does Barack Obama need to be President to do these things? He's already in Congress, why not propose the damn legislation he thinks is going to save the US now? Why wait? Same thing with McCain or Palin or Clinton or the whole lot.

Frankly, I'm digging out my old voter's receipts and just voting Perot.

I dont see how Americans dont like Socailism and see it as evil, sure communism was your 'enemy' for years but socailism is a much softer form of it, heck most European countries are socailist, the UK is (though I agree we are getting a little too capitalist for our own good). I personally see capitalism as the problem that cauased the credit crunch ^^. But thats my views .

I recently saw "Sicko" by micheal More and I was absolutely shocked by the US social security system. I honestly have no words for it, even criminal is to soft. That a developed country like the US still has a social security system that is poorer and less developed then 3th world countries is imo unacceptable.

That is why I think I the US could really really really use a few good left politicians.

Well, many of the Homeless people, and even those with homes in the states are living under the Poverty Line...also, Palin is fairly retarded: "I can see Russia from my House", I don't think Biden is as strong as Obama, but Obama better win...Also, in the presidential debate, McCain is not thinking things through: He wants to lower taxes, cut government spending and Pay off bad mortgage Debts, i think thats fairly contradictory

Lol, i forgot about that, most of the financial market in the US now rests on Government loans and money (I don't think the Gov. actually controls them, just owns them)

Palin has absolutely NO CLUE. I haven't yet seen her answer a question with a relevant and possible answer.
She simply plays to the crowd with her 'I'm a real American, just like you'.
She's an actor, not a politician.
