MoD News

Post by Deilos on Mon Nov 03, 2008 9:20 pm

British Army, now recruiting!

Are you tired of working and training every day? Have you begun to think that there's no point to this game, other than learning how to win every time at Trivial Pursuit?

In the British Army, you can put those hard earned strength points to good use. Join the paratroopers...

Vote it up, people!

...You serious? Because if you are, I may actually consider you... Depends, how can you prove that you're not gonna betray us again?

It really depends. Considering there aren't losses anymore, I wont "betray", even though I didn't to start with. It just depends on how much funding and stuff Paras get, I'll also use my own money.

If we're fully involved in a war, i'll fight on our side no matter what. But if there are other wars going on (not at the same time), I want the freedom to go to them aswell.

If you want the freedom to go to other wars, then you have that, so long as it doesn't conflict with what the eUK believe. Would you be prepared to wait for the MoD/War Council to officially declare eUK neutrality in a war before going to fight on one side or the other (with your own personal funding)? If the eUK decides, for example, that we support one side, but cannot/will not send forces to help them, you can't go and fight for the other side, whether it's your own funding or not.

The UK sides with somebody in most wars.

the other side

I'll agree to that, unless somebody decides to pay me as a Merc (which prob wont happen with the value of Gold). Me going on my own won't make the UK look bad, as most people know that I'm a Merc and we wont state it anywhere in papers, etc...

Or you could simply hire me? With just the same stuff as you give Paras, but it's not an offical duty.

If you're going to be a merc, then I'm not going to let you into the paras. However, hiring you sounds good... I'd be prepared to fund you what paras are funded to fight with us in some wars.
