New Xbox Experience

Any one else upgraded yet? Thoughts?

I myself am somewhat impressed. I like the avatars(very impressed the whole thing comes in at only 60K), although their blatant mii-ness is a bit annoying. The only thing I really miss about the old blades system is the sound you make swapping between them.

It's nice, although pretty much copied Wii on avatars.
Lay outs better, and it's more user friendly.

It looks pretty but I have found a really annoying glitch!
When I Download content I want it there accessable straight away!
But it shoves it into a list with all my other stuff and i have to trawl through it all!! Really Really Annoying!

i updated yesterday and i'm pleased to say it's better than i thought it was going to be. when i saw the pre release shots a few months back i weren't too sure about it but it seems they've made a few changes since then.
the main thing i didn't think i'd like was the avatars for them probably being too mii-ish but they've done it tastefully i'd say.
Mr Forsetti, i had an unexplained love for that noise too and it's still there when you switch between some (not sure if all) of the panes.
EDIT: ok i was mistaken on the noise, it's gone . i had the volume down at night cause everyone else was in bed and it sounded the same then.

The update seem half-ass, doesn't have alot new stuff to it from what I was expecting. Just re-organization of the menus and some wii-avatars.

I like it. Even if, I'm afraid to say, the interface is a bit of a copy the PS3 and the characters are a bit too Wii like. However, all in all it seems to be working sweetly.
It's all about the games anyway??!!

its not bad defiantely easier on the eyes but as rmatt said its all about the games fro hardcore gamers such as myself
