What are morals?

Post by Patrick Reckitt on Sat Nov 29, 2008 12:19 pm

This is something I've always wondered about and I would be interested to hear what opinions other people have on the subject of morals. Are they objective? Do absolute morals exist? Are morals just an expressive of opinion? Disscuss

Morals are what you believe is right and wrong, morals are subjective to each person.

As a killer may not think they are in the wrong in their killings whereas we thing they are morally wrong. We might think they are morally wrong but they might think they are morally right.

Then there is also another thing which is moral standards which IS different to morals, moral standards is the collective morals of the people in a certain area and the morals that are the most common or similar become the moral standards of that society.
