then played trombone for 2 years just for the gagszy

Though this may be so, I would personally be rather worried to see ANYONE play the:

Piano Grade 8
Guitar
Bass
Drums
Accordion
Ukelele

With their mouth, let alone any other... ahem. Airhole.

I play the piano, violin, guitar, though I've been VERY lax on the violin front. It's just no fun to play without accompaniment, I find.
